The King Philip Community Field Complex. Check out the recent project updates and help us make it real!

The King Philip Community Field Complex is an exciting all volunteer project that will raise funds to dramatically improve the playing fields and expand the sports campus at King Philip High School.

Our project plan which calls for the installation of a new, all-weather athletic surface to replace the existing turf field will not only support our athletic and physical education programs, but also provide a more dynamic "stage" for our nationally recognized Marching Band and an attractive physical environment for at-large community events.

Recent Project Updates:

$150,000 “Contingent?Donation Available for The Community Field at King Philip High School

An individual local area contributor has let us know that he will donate up to $150,000 for the project if the community at-large (that’s you, me and the other Parents and Families at the King Philip High and Middle schools) can raise $65,000 by June 18th (the last day of school this year). As with several other “large?individual and corporate donors ?this individual has expressed the desire that his contribution be a “call to action?for the other Parents in the KP Community and be made available to the project only if the people who will most directly benefit from a fully integrated Sports and Music Campus recognize the value of such a facility and begin contributing right away to it’s successful development.

$100,000 of In-Kind Donations Have Been Pledged by Community Area Contractors for Facility Work

We’ve also been speaking regularly with area contractors to gain their support for our project and getting them to contribute their management, time, labor and most importantly, materials to prepare the underlying “foundation?for the all-weather artificial turf field. To date we have $100,000 of these in-kind donations firmly committed and more hopefully on the way!

We’re also Working on Larger Corporate/Business Donations and the Rights to “Name?Warrior Stadium

Don’t worry; you’re hard at work Community Field Project Committee is on it! We are of course contacting local area business leaders to gain corporate sponsorships and substantial contributions to include “Naming Rights?to Warrior Stadium. It’s a great marketing and advertising venue for any business ?and we’re attempting to reach out to any and all Individuals, Families, Corporations and Organizations who would like the visibility of and recognition of having a 3 town Community Sports, Music and Community Activity Complex named for just them.
